I’m Nikita Amit Khandelwal, founder of Nioan The Healer, and my story began when my younger son was diagnosed with Celiac Disease — a severe allergy to wheat and wheat-based products. This diagnosis changed our lives. We soon realized how difficult it was to find uncontaminated, gluten-free foods in India. Even something as simple as flour required utmost care — so we started grinding our own atta at home to avoid contamination.
During the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, when access to stores and gluten-free essentials was nearly impossible, we decided to extend our help to others. Many families from lower and middle-income groups who couldn’t afford expensive gluten-free items from stores like Dorabjee’s or Amazon reached out — and we began supplying pure, homemade gluten-free flours to those in need. That moment marked the birth of Nioan The Healer.
